Dari Language Workshops

NMC-CESI launched an initiative for Afghan newcomer families in the Greater Toronto Area in the summer of 2022. The initiative was a summer program for the newcomer Afghan youth. The program ran from May to August 2022.

 

The objective of the program was  to support the development of the Afghan newcomer youth’s conversational English skills through facilitated interactive activities. There were workshops, educational and cultural activities for the Afghan newcomers, the Afghan diaspora, and the University of Toronto community.
